Once a cleaner has built a good supply kit and a well-developed checklist and plan, cleaning a house can be pretty straightforward. But a house is so much more than surfaces that get dirty - it’s your home! The life you live there creates unique needs. So while I strive to exceed your expectations at every cleaning by noticing the big and little things, I want to know what an excellent cleaning service actually looks like
for you and your home.
Explore my package options as a starting point - and together we can create the cleaning service you never knew you could have, as straightforward or as individual as you want!

Professional cleaning begins with a well-curated kit of supplies (and careful education on how to use them!). In my kit I prioritize product effectiveness and safety with low toxicity products to protect your family, pets, surfaces, and even myself.
Up to 99% of viruses and bacteria can be removed by thorough “mechanical” cleaning with an all-purpose cleaner, water, and a quality microfiber cloth; for a maintenance cleaning most surfaces need nothing more. I use a plant-based all-purpose cleaner with a light, fresh, natural scent. For surfaces that need chemical disinfecting beyond physical germ removal I use stabilized hypochlorous acid; it is gentle on surfaces and and does not leave behind fumes or residue but is proven to kill 99.99% of germs on hard surfaces. I do not use commercial bleach and I am even careful with popular natural cleaners such as vinegar; these products aren’t always necessary and can actually harm some surfaces if not used correctly.
For areas of build-up, I bring a variety of brushes, scrubbers, and a few surface-safe cleansers and soft scrubs formulated for the surface and specific type of build-up I need to tackle.
I also bring in an extendable duster with multiple fresh reusable microfiber heads, a vacuum and a flat mop with both terrycloth and microfiber pads. My vacuum filters are changed frequently and the vacuum itself is disinfected regularly. I do not carry a toilet brush so if one is not available to me then I will provide one for my use and store it beneath a bathroom sink.

Equally important to a good cleaning kit, a professional cleaning requires a plan.
In every room, for all cleans, I will, at minimum:
Dust from top to bottom, corners, and left to right, including ceiling fans.
Spot clean interior windows and wipe ledges.
Hand wipe any visible dirt on baseboards, doors, trim, stair railings, and walls.
Clean high-touch surfaces such as light switches and door handles.
Damp dust and shine all flat surfaces, lamps/light fixtures; decor is also wiped down at my discretion (for abundant or precious/priceless decor).
Tidy and arrange pillows/blankets etc.
Vacuum carpets and mop hard floor surfaces edge-to-edge, including stairs.
Please note: for a maintenance clean, furniture is not generally moved. I will move ottomans and lighter furniture for vacuuming.
In kitchens, in addition to the above, I also:
Wash, wipe and shine countertops, backsplash, and any countertop appliances (toaster, coffee machine, etc). I'll lift items, wipe, and tidy as I go.
Wipe down the high-touch and splash-zone faces of cabinets and hardware as well as the inside touch-points.
Wipe and shine exterior of refrigerator, stove front, and dishwasher. Microwaves are cleaned inside and out.
Scrub and shine stove top, sink and faucet. I remove burner covers and scrub them down; stove grates are generally wiped down with a periodic deeper cleaning.
Remove trash and replace liner
Check the kickplate and hand wipe the edges of the floor to prepare for vacuuming and mopping.
In bathrooms, in addition to the above, I also:
Clean mirror(s)
Wash and shine the entire countertop, lifting items to wipe/rinse off, dry, and place back.
Scrub and shine sink and faucets, detailing any soap residue or hard water deposits.
Wipe down the face of the cabinets and hardware.
Scrub and shine showers and tubs, detailing any hard water and soap scum with a variety of brushes and cleansers. Toiletries are wiped down and placed neatly.
Clean toilets top to bottom, inside and out, using designated reusable and sanitized cloths. If a toilet bowl brush is not provided by the homeowner, I will provide a new one to keep at the client's home and will stow it beneath a bathroom sink. Walls, floors and other items around the toilet are thoroughly wiped by hand to prevent mop contamination.
Empty trash and replace liners
Hand wash and/or flat mop floors depending on bathroom size and level of soiling.
Please note: This list is not all-inclusive and I actively look for specific needs in every home. No two homes are the same and yours will receive the individual attention it deserves!

This will be outlined in your quote and service plan.
A reset cleaning is also appropriate for move-in, move-out, or one-time cleaning needs.

Estimates are made in good faith based on the information provided in the online estimate form. Rate is not guaranteed and is subject to change after completion of your first regular cleaning session.
-
In-person quotes are valid for 30 days. After 30 days quotes are subject to change based on current availability. Once service begins, your quoted rate is locked in for a period of 36 months of continuous service from your start date. If more than 6 weeks elapses between sessions, continuous service has lapsed and rates will be subject to change.
-
If you decide to discontinue services, please provide at least a one-session notice (if possible). This provides me with the opportunity to fill your session and also to provide you one last top quality cleaning
If you need to skip or reschedule a session due to a known schedule conflict, please provide two weeks’ notice
If you need to cancel last-minute due to illness or emergency:
Please notify me as soon as you become aware; I will reach out with rescheduling options.
If I arrive at the home for a scheduled session and cannot enter due to illness or inability to access the home, a cancellation fee of $50 may be added to your next session.
If I need to cancel or reschedule due to a known conflict, every effort will be made to communicate a reschedule option well in advance.
Emergency cancellations on my part will be given priority rescheduling at your convenience.
In the event more than 6 weeks elapses between sessions, additional fees will be assessed for the time needed to reset the home back to maintenance conditions. Rates will also be subject to change at this time
-
I will make every attempt to provide exceptional service every session. If you find you are dissatisfied with the results of your service, please notify me within 24 hours so that I can arrange to return and address your concerns. If you are still not satisfied, service may be discontinued without notice. Refunds cannot be provided.
-
Cash or check payment is due at the time of service.
Card and ACH payments will be invoiced at the conclusion of service and are due at the close of business.
Large project cleans may be subject to a nonrefundable $50 down payment with the remainder due at project completion.
-
In the event that surfaces or items in your home are accidentally damaged or broken I will immediately communicate with an offer to replace or repair the item. I am insured for anything I am unable to remedy personally.
-
In winter months if there is significant snowfall, please ensure I am able to access the home. I will wear boots and make every reasonable attempt; if driveways are not passable I may:
assess a $50 no-show fee to the next session
attempt to reschedule
Cleaning is physically demanding. I am able to do my best work in cooler temperatures. During your cleaning session, please set your thermostat to approximately 68 degrees. If the home’s temperature is above 75 degrees, I may adjust it during the cleaning and will reset to your preference when I leave
Tidying up: I do not require that you pre-clean, however if there is significantly more clutter than usual I will communicate options for extra time or areas that need to be omitted for this session only.
