Hi there - allow me to introduce myself (I’m Erin, hi!).

Eleven Stars is brand new as of September 2026, but as with all destinations, this journey began long ago, before I could ever predict the form it would take. My professional and personal background has always centered on serving others—from working in customer service to raising my four sons full-time to working in local Grandville schools. Three years ago, I made an unexpected transition into full time house cleaning for a friend’s small local company. The job was a perfect fit: I was a newly single mom trying to be present for my kids in the same way I had been throughout my years as a full-time stay-at-home-mom. This job allowed me to get them all safely off to school, go put in a full day of work (for a cleaner, 6 hours is a respectable full day!), and still beat the bus back home. I loved that it felt like purely physical labor and that I could simply clock-in and clock-out and leave it behind.

I should have known! I soon realized the part of the job I actually came back for every day wasn’t the perfect way the schedule fit into my life; it was the way I (hopefully) made our clients feel seen, the little touches I could take from a 10 to an 11 (see what I’m doing with my name??). I grew to see my work as another way to serve others, both clients in their homes and our team of cleaners. So two years ago I began training team members and assisting with operations (client care, product distribution, marketing materials, fixing vacuums, quality checks etc).

The one thing I noticed I didn’t love was that team-based cleaning companies rely on systems to deliver quality and consistent results, and those systems do work! But they leave some gaps. There are client care needs that don’t follow a system, they follow intuition and understanding within a client-cleaner relationship. As an independent cleaner, my goal is to provide the same “level 11” cleaning and also offer flexible, personal home care tailored to your busy life
